My New Andy Petersen Volcano

Three years again Andy Petersen submitted on of the seven winning entries in the first GKCPC 2013 Carving Contest. At the last Chicago Show I asked Andy to make me a volcano like the one he won the contest with. I got the pipe last week and just loved. It was exactly what I wanted: a classic volcano. So I am sitting at the local B&M smoking the thing when it dawned on me to take a view pictures to sure. These were done with my Android and while I was in the process of smoking the pipe, so forgive the full bowl and the ashes that were about.

Nice ! You usually see the end grain of black palm. Nice to see the ring done this way, great look.

That is a beauty, very well done. The volcano is a shape I have never owned for some strange reason as I really do like the looks of it. That one has a great blast and the stem work looks first rate, congrats on your new pipe.

I saw this on Andy's Facebook page and think it's simply outstanding.
I bought one of Andy's pipes in 2012 and it's first rate; equal to pretty much any other pipe I own (including my Rad Davis). And I think his work is getting better and better. He's one of those guys that's going to be a rock star any moment now and his prices are going to go UP.
My advice is to buy his work NOW.
