I just got home and found a package on my doorstep containing my Missouri Meerschaum St. Patrick's Day pipe and the pouch of Erin Go Bragh.
I love the stem on this pipe. The cob and shank are also different and look very light in color, which is different than all my other cobs. It's a very pretty pipe and I have it filled up with some of the Erin Go Bragh and I plan on breaking it in tonight after supper.

They had a special edition that dropped with a pouch of Erin Go Bragh, and that's what I bought last week. Then that sold out, and one day this week they released just the pipe, but then those sold out within hours.

Well, even though I said I didn't really want any more cobs, I'da loved to possess that number. The stem alone makes it a worthy purchase. Enjoy!

I love that stem! And please let me know how the Erin Go Bragh is. I've been meaning to try it, but keep putting it off. Congrats and enjoy the heck out of it!

That's the best looking cob I've ever seen. I bet even Cosmic secretly wants one. Congrats...enjoy.

I really like the MM special editions with the acrylic or Vulcanite stems. It solves the one problem with MM cobs or me, the soft stems that I chew up. I don't mind paying a little more because they are still a good bargain and they last and last. Obviously, they under-produced this one, since it sold out immediately. My Dagner and C&D collaborations, a nose-warmer and a Charles Towne bent cob, are great pipes, and my wife gifted me with a big-bowled freehand that is a choice burley burner. So you are indeed lucky to have intercepted this offer, and your new cob's use is hardly limited to St. Patty's day, although it will be very nice with, for example, a nice Irish coffee.

Yeah, I have a few from my seconds bag that I don't think can make it much longer before they're going to crack I'm sure. The plastic in those things is softer than I remember. A few clenched smokes later and you've got a topographical map of the Rockies growing on there. I don't know if I'll waste any forever stems on my seconds, but I am thinking of adding a Mark Twain to the growing collection of MM pipes and I'm going to add a forever to stem to that one. Might toss in a few legends as well, maybe a diplomat. I bought some dye a couple of weeks ago and want to play around with customizing some of them with different stains colors and such, just to make them more my own.
This one here sure will be smoked on St. Patty's Day and I think I'll go through the paces with this one and the Erin Go Bragh, my Peterson St. Patty's Day with who knows what, and I'm sure some Irish whiskey will be consumed, along some Guinness, and might even go the extra mile for some Bailey's and enjoy myself a few Irish Car Bombs. Then round out the night with a stiff Irish coffee.
