The unfinished pipe is a Savinelli, the other is a Leonessa.

The bulks are 2oz of each Lane BLWB, and a blend that is approximately 95% McClelland 5100 and 5% Latakia

Nice scores Boz. I think you and I like the same shapes for our pipes. I have never heard of a Leonessa. Have you smoked one before? Was this an online purchase or from your B&M?

The purchase was in the B&M I bought them in, these are my first pipes from both brands. The Savinelli has a wide shallow bowl. and the Leonessa is the most narrow I have to date. I like the partial bent pipes, the thing that pulled me to the Leonessa was the finish on it. I gave both of them an inaugural smoke while I was there, and they both are good smokers.

Congrats!
"Those "natural" Savinelli pipes are great -- OK, they may have a fill or two" @roth
Bummer I would have thought no finish would've meant no fills since they'd be easy to spot...

My struggle was if I wanted to buy one pipe or these two for the same amount, if not slightly less. Well 4oz of tobacco was enough to tip the scales.

Sweet pipes. I'll have to look into those natural Savinellis. Would it defeat the purpose to hit it with some wax with a buffing wheel?

Nice choices, and good on you for adding two new pipes to the rotation. I really like the shape on the Sav. I totally get the desire to show value in PAD purchases... it's why I tend towards estates.
Enjoy 'em!
