I'm really happy with this pipe. Came with a lot of estate pipes recently. It's cleaned up rather nicely and smokes great. I was unfamiliar with this brand and pipe maker. I have one more of these pipes. It is a smooth finish billiard with a broken stem I'd like to have repaired
According to Pipedia:
http://pipedia.org/index.php?title=Jarl
In December of 2010 Ellen Jarl wrote that Jarl pipes were made by her grandfather, Niels Mogens Jørgensen in a little factory in the town of Bramdrupdam, just outside Kolding, Denmark. We have no reason to doubt that Niels Mogens Jørgensen is the maker of these pipes:

Nice pipe! It reminds me of my partial rusticated Eriksen, it has the same smooth panels on the side and polished where the shank meets the stem. Glad it's smoking well for you!

Lovely pipe durham270.
Here's a Jarl I picked up in a lot of estates. I'll post photos of it once I've finished cleaning it up. But I love the shape, weight and colour.
