Hi all, I'm new to this forum (and to pipe smoking!)
Today my grandfather gave me his two pipes, but I'm having troubles identifying them.
One of the pipes is billiard shaped and has the mathematical sign "pi" (3.14), along with the writing "Fumo Popular"

I wonder if anyone know of this brand?

Castello has a pi designation for shapes/designs that are out of the ordinary. Not sure about Fumo Popular though.

It would cost a little bit, but I would seriously consider sending these to Walker Briars or one of the

other professional pipe repair people for a complete restoration. They will look like new, and it will

honor these important gifts.

No other markings I'm afraid.

I have a feeling it's made in Denmark, probably around 1970's or 1980's.
