I usually avoid conversations that start with..."I have this pipe- can you make one sorta like it?" On this one, I really started out disliking almost everything about the project. The original in the back was a Posella that was huge- 99 grams...and I thought a little too much bowl for the shank...The guy was a friend of mine who swapped me a little Dunhill Prince I just had to have...
I was actually fairly happy with the end result- sandblasted Morta with more height in the bowl, a little more meat to the shank with a oxhorn ring...and some of my new SEM Honey Cumberland for the stem- a very cool color...and the final weight was 98 grams (Morta is lighter than briar)

Nicely done, Zack!
It has been fun watching you pull that one out of the blank on Instagram. I like how true it is to the model, and agree that the honey Cumberland is really cool. Nice work bud. Don't let Bradley see it, or you'll be making another one!

Thanks Harris- You and I both thought it was a little funky when I was roughing it out the other night, but the oxhorn and stem balanced it out...

Thanks Bradley!..The funny thing is that it looks like Becker is using the same Honey Cumberland...

Both of those pipes are HUGE... I believe you could probably defend yourself with either one of those.
Very cool looking. I'm certain now that I need to obtain one...

Oh God - there goes my morta PAD again! Great pipe Zack! Glad I hadn't seen this a few days ago or I'd have a real decision to make, although I'd be worried I'd lose a grandchild in that bowl...

I like it! Have always liked thick walled pot shaped pipes! Gotta get some of the Honey Cumberland!.
