Really excited about this as I had to wait about 10 months to even get one made. A Slender Man from British pipe maker Chris Kelly aka Eldritch Pipes. These are his pics, the pipe is currently on its way to me, just had to share!

I've seen him post a lot of Slender Mans but they usually have a dark stain and stem to match, I wanted a more natural look and a vibrant blue stem and I think he nailed it.

Nice! What does he do to support the pencil shank?

Does he have a a delron insert in the shank to protect it??

Scottie uses a surgical steel inner sheath. Makes the shank to bowl area really strong, plus the reverse tenon results in a totally smooth airway from the chamber to the slot. She did quite a bit of experimentation engineering a pencil shank that is structurally strong, including dropping test pipes onto concrete from two floors up.

Very nice! I love Chris his work, especially the slenderman or dr patience reading pipe he makes. Normally he makes quite extravagant color combinations, but this classic take on it is very nice. I think I saw on his YT channel he uses CF as a support for his pencil shanks.

from a videos in the past ive watched i know he does reinforce the shanks. what material he uses? i neglected to ask him.

I guess you won't need to break in the shank.
