I had my first cigar this year and I was very worried that I woukd have lost the taste for them as some other posters have noted. Fortunately I haven't and I enjoyed it very much (once I got used to the draw difference again). I'm very glad as I have a full humidor waiting on better weather to enjoy. I haven't given up on my pipes, just good to know I still enjoyed it. Had a nice Nicaragua maduro panatela after digging out from almost 2 feet of snow!

My local b&m has a house line called Montana Azul and they are fantastic smokes, easily as good as the premium sticks from CAO and Fuente and they're a fraction of the cost. I have 75 of these little panatelas and they're perfect for a 20 min smoke. But my favorite right now is the Hemingway Short Story from Fuente.

I wish we were able to have lounges around here, unfortunately they are illegal in Ontario. I was forced to have my cigar outside in the worst snow storm we've had in 10 years. Good thing it was a panatela!

Ya Uber, that really does sound good! Its funny though, I love aros with pipes but I prefer earthier blends with my cigars, makes no sense to me.

I'm a long time El Rey del Mundo smoker. Never liked flavored cigars. Pipe tobacco is another story all together. Must be the tobacco used in pipe blends. Maybe the way it is processed? - bp

It is damn tasty. the mint isn't an in your face flavor. It's very subtle and enhances the flavor of the maduro. They have a non-maduro option as well. I haven't tried the Tabak Especial yet, but I plan to eventually.

I'll admit the idea/description of the Java Mint sounds tasty, but when I first started smoking, it was on ACID! cigars. A few years later, I was talking w/ a friend who smoked about how we got started, and I told him I used to smoke ACID!s. Well, he bought me one, and it was very hard to smoke! I swear it was rock candy wrapped in a cigar leaf - SO sugary and sweet! Way to much for me, so I'm afraid to go back to anything Drew Estate....these do sound better though....
In the meantime - I am very much enjoying going threw my box of CAO Concert cigars. I have the "solo" size (5.5x50). These are really exceptional smokes for the price, and still pretty damn good when being smoked against some of the more expensive stuff. I'm not sure what I'll fill the humidor with once they're gone....
