My First Brakner

Picked this up from a guy who's name rhymes with Barty Fulver. It is a Brakner Antique. It has arrived and the fit and finish are marvelous. I plan on hitting it up with some SPC Deception Pass when I get home.

I was intrigued when I saw the pipe and more so when I read what I could on him. Great pipe maker who studied under Sixten Ivarsson and got many accolades in his career.
I am glad to have this pipe. I like the shape and the finish is just cool!

One of those classic angular Brakner shapes. I have six Brakner pipes, in a wide variety of shapes, and each one is an excellent smoker. A very talented and original pipemaker. That one is really a piece of Modern Danish pipemaking history, enjoy it!
