My Favorite Vanilla Is PS's Highland Whisk(E)Y

During the recent Peter Stokkebye sale, I decided to branch out a little and I ordered some Highland Whiskey.
Since I enjoyed the rum in Black Frigate and the Sherry essence in Irish Oak, this sounded reasonable.
There's a slight whiskey resemblance in the tin and every so often in the pipe, if I try real hard, but mainly it tastes sort of vanilla-like to me.
Debate? Discussion?

I didn't like it, but can't explain why. Funk. It didn't taste like vanilla or whisky to me.

As far as I'm concerned whisky and rum belong in a glass and vanilla used to flavour ice cream. The only flavour I want in my pipe is tobacco :nana:

I smoked my first bowl of it last night. I didn't notice vanilla, just whisky. To me it tasted similar to the taste in SG Bothy Flake. Next time I smoke some, I'll look for vanilla, and let you know.
