Nice looking stash you have there. I need to give Autum Evening a try. It's on on my short list of stuff to buy next.

There's several ounce and a half pouches in the back unseen such as Dunhill London Mixture, Mc Clelland Dominican glory and 7 Seas Royal. All enough to keep me going for awhile.

Very nice! You need to show some pics of your pipes though, including your new meer :p

Smokey's is only maybe 7 miles or less from here. I will check them out. The Winslow smokes wonderfully and has a bigger capacity. If I want to pack it for an hour's smoke it'll fit the bill. I just need to slow down to make it last that long. I think I need another pipe to better my rotation. I guess I'm looking for a reason. :)

Nice looking stash, great pipes as well. I see you are keeping some tobacco in mason jars, how is the shelf life for freshness? I tend to only buy one or two tins of a certain kind of tobacco as I do not have experience storing anything for long term consumption. I would like to start buying a few more blends in maybe 4 to 8 ounces rather than having to buy a new tin of something every week or two.

orientalxander-I don't know about the shelf life as I just started doing this. If left alone I'm sure it would be years but those are in 8 ounce jars and may get attacked before I have to worry about long term storage.
The Winslow is a hefty little dude and something I can't hold in my mouth without the aid of my hand...polygrip ain't the same as it was years ago or maybe my gums have shrunk.
I'm not sure what to compare Autumn Evening with as yet, photoman. It's a cool, mild smoke for me and burns well but, I know tastes will vary. I haven't developed an educational palate like some that have been smoking the pipe decades. You should try it. I do like the Winslow. It has a larger airway and tenon than my others and the draw is effortless. I don't have the specs on it but the bowl is about 1 3/4" deep and diameter I.D. of 7/8" for long smokes.
Yep-those labels are made by hand by "Rip-a-Stickie in TN. :D

Ha ha I know a lot of people get fancy with printed labels but I do the same as you. Works great and doesn't take up needed time.
