My All Time Favorite Pipe Rest Is Done For. Anyone Know Where There Are More or Have One?

So you guys all know how some rests fit some pipes and but not all. When I got this one, it was nothing special and plenty out there for $10. It spent 6 years outside on my patio and lost its shape mostly. I’ve spent too much time searching and aside from $100 for one on a foreign Amazon site (maybe) I’m SOL. It’s kind of an ISO thread so not sure if this is ok here… but I really want another. I’ve even thought of commissioning a bunch for my shop to justify it. lol! Nothing special, it just works for most of my pipes and they don’t fall out. It was made by a few companies. This one was Firedog. I’ve done the searching. Figure I’d see if any hits here. No harm in asking where to find one and hope you do but IMO if you are looking for someone here to supply or sell you one you really should put it in a WTB ad.

Yeah I may do it. I have dozens of rests and this one lasted so long outside and held virtually every pipe from straight to full bent and odd shapes really safely and easy to grab. I have worked with a leather shop in the past but it’s been a while. I’ve been considering it though and have 6-12 made maybe if cannot find one otherwise.

There are a bunch on Amazon that are similar, and much less than $100. Just look for "leather pipe rest". I only looked for a few seconds, there might be better ones.

Im kinda liking the Nuanchu above. Two for $17 isn't bad, but faux leather is a deal breaker.

What's wrong with old one ? Can it be reconditioned or stiffened with fabric stiffener ?
