My 2022 Peterson St. Patrick's Day Pipe Arrived Today. (Pics)

First let me give Smoking Pipes ?? for fast shipping and the USPS ?? for fast delivery. It arrived at my door in two days. Funny thing is I orderd a new Maigret book two weeks ago and it's bouncing around the country, Little Rock, Memphis, Chicago, Des Moines, back to Chicago and that's where it sits.

Anyway, back to the pipe. I know the green stem isn't popular with some, but I like it. Seems to be a little darker green than in the pics (SPC and my pics). This is my first and only Peterson. Who knows, maybe I'll be a Peterson fan and maybe I won't.

Probably my favourite pics of a green stem briar pipe to date. The last one especially, looks like well polished kahurangi pounamu (a prized variety of jade found in NZ)

I am. I'm trying to sell the pipe rests and some of my pipes are next.

Rustication on your photos doesn't seem very pineapple-ish like they show on SPC. I quite like it!

I like my Petes a lot. I think you'll find it's an excellent pipe. A deeper green looks better than the photos I've seen. I do like a few more colorful stems. Many of my pipes have black or dark stems, so some variation is good. Happy smoking!

Took another look at your pipe Scott, and the ones on SP. It shows the importance of lighting. Much less 'neon' on yours. Again, nice pipe you have.

Other than a radiused band, an army type stem, and two dozen more shapes, I really don't see anything that sets these apart from the 2021 SPD pipe though.

Great looking pipe! The green stem is quite handsome. I like the shank length on this one. How do you like it so far? I am very on the fence with Petersons. Had some good, had some bad.

I agree. I almost bought a 2021 last year, didn't because the stem looked a little blue-greenish. I like this green stem, adds some color to my collection. Hopefully it smokes well.

How do you like it so far?

I haven't smoked it yet. It's my first Peterson, so I hope it smokes well. If it doesn't, I may never buy another. I'm not an everyday smoker. Probably smoke one day next week.
