Why does the title "Member" mean so much to me? I don't really understand all the underlying dynamics, but I do know that belonging to this particular group of gentlemen is counted both an honor and a privilege. Thank you to all who responded so kindly to my early posts (you know who you are) and encouraged me to get involved. I've learned much about the art of pipe smoking over the past two months. I'll be 60 tomorrow and consider membership a valued birthday gift.
