This would have been the very early stages of the war: a Saigonese, singing American style rock, gave it up after marrying a Vietnamese army doctor, ended up a refugee in the U.S., never told her kids she was a singer way back, having it all discovered recently and her music finally compiled by her Dr daughter and made available. Anyone here in the war and have any recollection of Saigonese nightlife (the kind of story that fits with THIS theme, I mean about the music):
