I’ve been thinking of pressing/stoving tobak mixes, and was thinking of a way to do both simultaneously.

Looking at the usual suspects for noodle presses, I came across this. About the same price as screw type hand presses, but being all stainless, and screw together like a grease gun, I had a thought:

If I could cut silicone disks to seal both ends, why couldn’t this be used to accomplish both pressure and heat for creating a plug?

just sharing my thoughts, may be something I try a bit down the line-I’ve been spending too much on pipes and blends lately to justify the venture in the immediate future.

That’s the reason I went with a stainless noodle press.

Interested to hear your results. Just make sure to account for moisture escape. I don’t mean as far as the finished product, I mean make sure you have something under the press in case it starts dripping. Seals are great, but they may not be fail proof. Don’t ask me how I know.
