Murray-Frame & Love Replacement Stem

Hello:
I bought a Murray-Frame & Love briar with a bent stem some years ago in London.

The stem has broken and I am seeking a source for a replacement. However, the end of the stem which enters the pipe is a smaller diameter than that of any other pipe I own. Is that a British thing? Could anyone provide a source for such a replacement stem?
