Fresh morels (in Oz) have been sighted from time to time, but no mushroomer worth his salt is willing to impart the location(s) of his patch.
I cooked up a batch of dried morels in a port reduction glaze to go with scotch filet and roast veg during the week. Enjoyed it greatly, but would have been much better with fresh ones.
