Not sure I care for the dimensions on that Dunhill at all. My vote goes for the Ashton. By the way, dragon, you always kill me with these PAD attacks of yours. I love looking at the things that you find on the internet and I think that you and I have similar taste in pipes. Im still drooling over that BC you posted some months back.

smoking, I would suggest looking at this pipe,in my opinion it will out smoke either of the two you are looking at and I believe it is in the same price range. http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/new/rad-davis/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=113416
My one Ashton has a great blast, smokes pretty well( not as dry as any of my Rads or other American artisan pipes) smokes very cool, but the stem design is not very good at all. The Ashtonite stem material to me is the same as any hard acrylic, and the button is not very comfortable. It is a nice pipe but I consider it a tier below all of my artisan pipes.
A new Dunhill might look nice, but in my experience( I own two and have owned two others that I sold off) it will not smoke as well as a Rad or other top American artisans. Just something to think about.

Thanks Brother, I also have been eye'in that billiard from Rad, love

his work. I have been trying to hold my PAD down because I need

a lathe and want to get my own carving started again :) My brothers

have said I wouldn't be successful because I would be smoking all

the pipes I make, Lmao ;-)

I already have a few if them ;-) They are a great design and as I take these out

and about the ability to be able to break them down still hot it perfect. I think

by listing items below my PAD might have calmed down.....NOT! ;-)
