More PAD - Mr. Brog, WBW Forever Stem

So - this having a paycheck thing is kind of nice...
Here's my 'new' cobwarden - it's the Country Gent that I received from patiobum, with a new 8" Forever Stem from Walker Briar Works. Took a little judicious sanding to fit it properly, but it's gorgeous...

Also got a Mr. Brog churchwarden - the "Dezerter" No. 13 in Walnut:

I'm using codger burleys to break this one in - Sugar Barrel to start, with some Sir Walter Raleigh in reserve. The pear scent/flavor was noticeable when I was playing around with it prior to smoking - didn't really notice any while I ran the first bowl of Sugar Barrel through, but my palate's still developing. :puffpipe:

Just ran a bowl of H&H Daybreak through the cobwarden - I'm liking it. Too heavy to clench, but great for sitting out with a good book. Now I need new patio furniture... :D

Coalsmoke I think you should buy two or three different Mr. Brog pipes, they are cheap enough.
By the way, a great way to get a Mr. Brog is to sign up for Bing.com rewards. You can earn about five dollars a month (well once you reach gold status). You then can redeem your points for an Amazon.com gift card. Just a thought I have used this to buy two of their pipes from amazon.com.

Had another bowl of Sugar Barrel in the Dezerter today, as well - and yes, there's still a hint of pear flavor/aroma coming through when I stop and pay attention... and it actually clenches remarkably well, though the bit's a little thicker than I normally like for clenching.
Good suggestion on the rewards, jndyer. My employer has a wellness program, which I'm seriously thinking about subverting (they give points for smoking cessation programs, for example...) - the periodic 'challenges' supposedly pay out in Amazon gift cards as well. :D
