Here's a couple of photos I thought would be cool to share...

No photo editing was done. I just used two different settings on the camera.
Just below the moon is the Tropicana Dome (in the center), which is where the Rays play baseball.

Really dig the first one. Very dramatic. Makes me think about getting back in to photography haha. I don't have the room for a dark room though...or an enlarger. I just love traditional photography too much.

It's funny that I like the 2nd one better, but everyone else likes the first one best, even showing to friends elsewhere.
The first one is kind of cool though. It reminds me of the movie Sin City.

Man, you know what totally sucks?
Our condo building just announced a photography contest. They are re-decorating the halls and are going to enlarge the winning photos to be displayed in the halls. The photos need to be in tribute to St. Petersburg, and they want them in the style I did, especially the top one that everyone liked the best.
The part that sucks is that I didn't keep the originals of the above photos. I only kept the re-sized, optimized down to 72 dpi for the web versions that are posted here.
I don't know if I'll get another opportunity to try to re-create that shot with the changes in position of the Earth and Moon, or by the deadline.
Crap.
