I got a new dwarf cobbit from MM. It is a pretty neat pipe. I like the size and the smaller bowl. However, I have a couple concerns about it. The stem isn't straight and is way above the bottom of the bowl. Is that OK? The stem has a lot of glue where it looks like maybe the stem was smaller than the hole it went in. Hole was drilled kind of jagged. I have 3 other MM cobs and none of them have this sort of thing going on. I'm pretty new to pipes overall - is this normal for MM cobs? I can certainly clean up the glue a little, but I assume turning the stem straight would be pretty hard without destroying the cob in the process.
On a side note. Anyone know when foreverstems site for the MM cobbs will be back up?
