A cob can be a nice smoking instrument and it looks like you got a good one.

There might have been a century old model in the Missouri Meerschaum museum with an angled top called the Bracken or who knows why it’s named a Bracken, but Bracken County Kentucky was the birthplace of white burley tobacco.

The Bracken appears to use the largest diameter cob and the best stem and ferrule Missouri Meerschaum has in stock (except for the mutant freehands).
