It's funny that during my interview with Olie Sylvester, I told him that I have 3 Comoy Pipes. Make that six as of yesterday.
I had a minor case of PAD & TAD. I ordered from SmokingPipes.com: Comoy's Spectrum Smooth Billiard (186), G.L. Pease Tobaccos ... Union Square, Westminster, Ashbury, Cairo, Samarra, Maltese Falcon, Quiet Nights and Key Largo.

If you look real close - on the left is part of a pink box - Victoria's Secret gift for my girlfriend (if I get stuff, she has to get stuff), and my jeans that I have to iron laying over the chair... kind of YouTube-Video-ish.

OK,

Now I can put you in the same category as I am. A tobacco slut!!!!

Nice Comoy, and I notice they are commanding more $$ these days. Someone is catching on.

I can't speak for Comoy pipes, though that certainly looks like a beaut. I can, however, understand your Pease TAD as I suffer from the same problem. Though a different genre -- I can't get enough of his VaPers and VaPer hybrids: Haddo's, Cairo, Fillmore, Barbary Coast being among my favorites.
We are truly living in the Golden Age of pipe tobacco.

Hi,

I never heard of GL Pease Tobacco (new smoker here). Will definitely have to try them, all of them! Anyone know where I can get them in Canada?
Excuse me being nosy, but that is a fine looking home, I really like that open view/window.
Happy smoking :puffpipe:

Greg, what is up with making Kevin buy retail? I would have thought you would hook your brother up with some wholesale deals. I guess you just don't rate high enough Kevin. LOL

Kevin, I just popped a tin of Samarra that has two years age on it, and it is one of the most sublime smokes I have ever had. Silky, smoky, a little spicy, good latakia hit with no rough edges thanks to the aging. Give it some time in the closet and save it for a special occasion, I guarantee you wont regret it.

Congratulations on your new pipe and tobacco variety. I hope you enjoy the pipe for many years. If you have an opportunity I am sure lots of members would appreciate your opinions of the different tobaccos

Welcome aboard Sands. Check the sponsors on the left. Specifically Smoking Pipes, 4Noggins, Pipes and Cigars, Cup O Joes.
I've only tried two GL Pease tobacco's myself, Haddo's Delight and Chelsea Morning, but they both we're excellent. I don't even care for English's all that much but Chelsea Morning is very nice and peaceful with a cup of coffee.
Haddo's is just an excellent multifaceted tobacco. Sweat yeasty bread, damp soft wood, stewed plums and peppers. Tasty stuff.

That is a great looking haul Kevin. I hope you get many miles out of that Comoy.
As I see snow coming down here in NJ at a whopping 31 degrees, I am not sure what I am more jealous of....your haul or that view out of the window :)
Happy Smoking :puffy:

Welcome to the forum!
I'm a huge Pease fan -- especially of his English and Balkan blends. If you find that you like latakia, I can't recommend Westminster (English) and Caravan (Balkan) highly enough. I also enjoy Abingdon, Ashbury, Charing Cross, Kensington, and Odyssey.
