Metro Detroit Pipe Club October Gathering

We'll be attending the IASPC Event in Flint (OK, Swartz Creek) on October 24. There will be a pipe smoking contest and show.

I am going to assume, absent other information, that the contest will involve using your own pipe, 2 grams of Paul's contest blend, and 2 matches.

Shoot, I don't know a darned thing about the venue. I can't imagine it's gonna be so big that we are going to have trouble running into each other. Anybody else have thoughts on this?

Ive never been to one of these but I agree about it being fairly small. I'll try to be there. Starting a new job Monday so I may have to work.

I'm hoping to get there around 10. This gives me time to browse the show, maybe spend money, get lunch,and be ready for the pipe smoking contest at 1:30 ::
