Does anyone happen to know anything about this pipe or family of pipes?
My neighbor is a jeweler who has his own small shop. Last weekend he saw my collection of refurbished pipes, and as a tradesman himself, appreciated it. He came over tonight and gave me this pipe. He had been talking to a customer the other day and mentioned that I have been refurbishing estate pipes. Seems she came back in today and gave it to him to give to me. She said it was her fathers, but held no real sentimental value to her. I assume that means beyond the fact that she never threw it away, but was willing to give it away to someone she didn’t know. Perhaps she felt someone willing to fix it up was a better choice than oblivion.
