Toscanis are a cheap Italian strong cigar that some guys love. I never heard of them as a tobacco blend. Another cheap cigar in the same vein are the Wolf Brothers Rum Soaked Crooks.

I smoked both as a juvenile delinquent and liked the Rum Soaked Crooks the best. The first cigar I smoked when I was 12 was Tajuana Smalls that had sweeet tasting plastic tip. I though I was such a bad ass lol. My first pipe I grabbed one of my dad's and bought a package of Borkum Riff and me and Bobby Bortman torched out mouths trying to figure out how to smoke that shit. Needless to say it did not go well. I switched to cigarettes with no problems. When I ran out of cigarettes once I did something very stupid.

Now the all time worst thing I ever smoked were dried up pine needles wrapped in a paper bag. It was the most vile thing I ever tried to smoke and 50 years later it is still the most vile shit on the planet.

Never had it but it's a 'black and tan' blend by Dan Tobacco.

I'm a fan of Dan Tobacco blends, their virginias in particular are top notch - should be worth a try if you like the sound of it.

What do you mean it's a black and tan tobacco from Dan? It's the same blend?

Funnily enough, in Italy and Switzerland you can get clippings of Toscano cigars in a box to smoke in a pipe. They are dirt cheap, come bone dry, and taste very good (if you like Toscanos - I love them). Also they pack enough nicotine to melt faces.

I think it is a fantastic tobacco. It has a very tasty variety of cigars. They remind me of the cigars they make here in Valencia (Spain). Although the Toscanos are sweeter and spicier.
