Had it not been for living in Hawaii, I would of never know about the words, Mele Kalikimaka, Hawaiian for Merry Christmas, and then later to realize, the influence that Bing Crosby had on the Pipe World, that he also sang a song about Mele Kalikimaka with The Andrew Sisters in 1950, and later put it on his Merry Christmas album.

That's a fun one.

Interesting thing I heard on the radio today (haven't had a chance to check it) was that nobody born after 1950 or so has ever heard the 2 original recordings of White Christmas. The original was lost and the master wore out so the younger ones have only heard the ones done later.
