meerschaum pipe stems

I was given a very small meerschaum pipe and didn't know the stems screw in when I tried to remove it. The shank to scew in the stem is only 1/4. I haven't been able to find replacement stems. Any suggestions?

I haven't gotten to repair meers as of yet, but I'd suggest checking out SMS Meerschaum's service page. They should be able to fix it right up for you. I've dealt with them once a long time ago for an unrelated reason and had some great service with them.
