Like it or not we pipe smokers are a dying breed. A losing art. This is the age of speed. But those of us who appreciate the art of all pipes and smoking them still hold on to our history and forever will.

I've got a copy of Meerschaum Museum, Governor of Eskisehir Bahaeddin Guney, 1989. Sadly, the Meerschaum Museum no longer exists. The Carving schools are gone and a good number of the mining villages have become ghost towns. A number of Carvers that were featured in this book still survive today. Where there is a will there is a way. The Vagabond Journey in annapolispipes's link is a great bit of history.
