just got gift meer. &although the inserts are tight in stem & shank the tenon does not fit firmly & withe the slightest touch the sem willturn. any suggestions?

If it's a delrin or Teflon mortise and tenon insert set-up, beeswax makes those even more loose.

If it has screw in inserts, order some replacements.
