A mellow, fragrant Latakia blend aged with stave cubes cut from barrels used to mature and flavor Frog Morton's own special whiskeys.
Strength: Mild to Medium

Flavoring: Mild

Taste: Medium

Room Note: Pleasant to Tolerable
Blend Type: English

Contents: Latakia, Virginia

Flavoring: Whisky

Cut: Ribbon
Notes: The name Frog Morton comes to us from the works of JRR Tolkien. Frogmorton: A village in the Eastfarthing of the Shire. It stood on the East Road, between the Three-farthing Stone (fourteen miles to the west) and the Brandywine Bridge (twenty-two miles to the east). Immediately to the north of the village, the stream known as the Water broke into two, creating a wide watery region - this feature seems to have given Frog Morton its name, which means "frog marsh".
This is one of my favorite blends and always keep it stocked in my cellar, and I smoke it at least 2 days a week. when I open the tin I get a strong woody smell. The tobacco was a little moist so I would let it dry out a little before you smoke it. when I packed my pipe the tobacco lit very well and stayed lit, and did not need to be re light.the room note is amazing you get that wood smell and a hint of the whisky. I have gotten many complements from people on how they like the smell of the tobacco. I would let this tobacco age for as long as you can I have smoked new tins and tins that I have let sit for 2+ years and even though I did enjoy both, but enjoyed the aged tin a lot better. over all I give this a 5 star rating .

Drunk Frog in the Cellar is quite popular.
Glad you enjoyed it, but stock up, it is a big seller, or is that cellar?

Room Note: Pleasant to Tolerable

Pleasant when you don't get yelled at.
Tolerable when the wife tells you to smoke that crap outside.
I am stocked up I counted what I have and I 10 tins worth of FMC. I think the room note should be pleasant. people I some it around live the smell. I'm not married yet ( I will be spring of next year) , but my Fiancée already forbid me from smoking inside.

I just finished off the last of my Sterling Royal London Dock stash and lined up a tin of each of the Frogs for my next couple weeks...they are all fantastic blends. Spot on review, bulldog.

Good flint, glad I could help you find another tobacco you like. KCG I like the original FM, and the whole FM collection, but the smell and taste of the Cellar won me over. FMC is in my top 5 fitzy, rome start with the original FM and work through them and end with FMC, and thank you
