The new MBSD series of billiards with silver army mounts and ebonite stems were reasonably priced at $120 for blasts and $130 for smooth and sold out fast. I picked up a blast that arrived today.

“925” is the hallmark stamp for sterling silver, representing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals like copper to strength it for jewelry use.
First impressions are good. I’ll load it up later once it hits room temp from being in the mailbox. The stem is gonna be super comfy in the bite zone
My pipe arrived yesterday but I didn’t realize it as it was addressed to my wife and I pushed the box to her desk! I’m going to load it up pretty soon with Reiner gold 71

I’ve been eyeing the house brand briars there by Vitale, not the army mounts, which I didn’t know about, but the regular ones with zebra or box ferrules. They all look like great pipes at great prices. I’m eager to hear how they smoke
