Thanks brother..it is a 9mm filtered, but they provide an adapter as well. All my smokers are non-filtered so I figured I would try this one filtered w/balsa filters. 1st smoke will be some 2yr old Solani Silver Flake for my AM smoke

@thesmokingdragon:

I was wondering who grabbed that and took it off of my 'wishlist'. Yesterday I was looking through my wishlist pipes and you got to it before I placed an order! I received the Mastro Brugo Volcano and was so amazed by the quality and smoking abilities I decided to go with the OomPaul, and was about to order the Dublin next week...but alas you beat me to it! You'll love the way it feels and the way it smokes...

1st smoke is thumbs up here. The Brugo line is a great

series and I'm eye'in the Rhodesian next. ;-) I just wish

they didn't coat their bowls...not a deal breaker for me

but I really enjoy seeing and breaking in a naked briar

bowl myself

You certainly picked up a fine combination. I am an avid fan of Mastro de Paja pipes, and IMO they are a very underrated pipe. I can personally say that I have never had a bad one and the majority of them are favorite smokers. Congrats and enjoy.

Very nice. I actually have a couple of 9mm filtered pipes and I actually bought them on purpose. I don't smoke many aros but my wife likes it when I do. I find the only way I can smoke an aro is in a filtered pipe. It eliminates the tongue bite that aros almost always give me.

Great looking Mastro smoking. I enjoyed smoking my 9mm filtered pipes without the filter, you may want to try it. I own one Mastro and it is a great smoker, they are a very underrated company. Silver Flake is a favorite of mine and I smoke it in numerous Dublins with great success.
