I love the Comoys 256 Author shape and have owned numerous examples and 2nd lines. This one was made for the Chicago based Marshall Field & Company. From the COM, I estimate somewhere from the 1950's to the merger in 1981. Full details and pictures are on the Reborn Pipes blog:
