Greetings,

anyone has any suggestion on a recipe equivallent for marlin flake by rattray's ? Its until now, my favorite VaPer and since i cant find it, ill try to recreate it my own. I know it has Va, Perique and Black cavendish.

Try calling B&M's. It's likely available out in the wild. Online stores aren't the only source for tobacco, not by a long shot. You're trying to duplicate a blend made overseas using tobaccos of a specific type with a very specific topping that undergoes very exacting processing. Chances of duplicating that are lower than finding some in stock.

Top Hat apparently has some. See link below. Other members have reported that their website is occasionally ahead of their inventory, but I just picked up a pound last week. In the past couple of years it seems that Rattray’s and Wessex are out of stock 4 - 6 months between product drops in the US, and then it gets snagged pretty quick.

I should also add that another VaPer that I think is in the same wheelhouse as Marlin Flake is Hearth & Home Anniversary Kake. Sweeter and not quite as strong, but similar. It’s readily available at P&C.
