I have had this pipe for a while now. I just haven't got around to taking pictures. A while back I posted how I was wanting to find a 2012 Pipe of the Year. I settled on this pipe and could not be happier with it. Smoke great. Almost an Oom Paul shape. I like how the bowl is almost below my nose so I get a better sense of the smell with out my nose being warm. I tried and can't stand nosewarmers.

The double band effect in different wood finishes sets off that high capacity bowl. I

admire a carver who can bring elements together as if they grew that way, as this one certainly

does. Of course, this is Tinsky. That pipe puts you in the mood for a smoke, and deep thought.

I never owned a Mark Tinsky pipe. However, I have always read that they are a great value for price. Really beautiful pipe. I am partial to half bents.

Congrats on your new pipe, and thanks for posting the pictures.

I think it was Harris who conjectured than Rad Davis does the sandblasting for Tinsky. I dunno, but I think he's right.

Anyhow, beautiful pipe.

The incredible richness of the blasting makes you want to 'eat' this pipe. I don't know if it is the photography or what.
What is the length of this pipe? It looks like not more than 5 inches. Weight?
REally beautiful!
Good luck with it.
