I've always liked flames on pipes. Tried it myself on a couple of old Grabows. Weren't near as pretty as that one!!

I really like the new-ish development/direction that rustication is taking these days.

Very stylish.

Used to be rustication was used to cover up imperfections, for the most part.

Now it has developed into a true art-form.
Very cool pipe... Me likee.

I have an old Carey pipe that is very similar to that. Not nearly as nice as that one and the flames are the only reason I keep it.

Always prefered rusticated pipes myself. I surely want a flamed pipe!

Thanks brothers for the kind words regarding my ring of fire pipe. It is a fun pipe to make and carving the flames makes is a little challenging as well.
