Malignaggi VS. Broner

Did anyone else see this fight tonight? Broner took a fake welterweight title from Pauly in a split decision. I saw it as a draw. I felt Pauly should have kept the title. It was stolen. What surprised me was Broner's statement after the fight "I took his belt AND his girl." that showed a remarkable lack of class. And all boxing fans know that the real welterweight champ is Floyd Mayweather Jr. So this wasn't a real title fight no matter who won. Eventually Floyd will shut Broner's mouth and take that title too. It was a very entertaining fight. Hope you enjoyed it.

Oh no you are not alone foggy. I saw the fight also. What fight did the judge see that scored it 117-111? What a class less sob that Broner is. Looking forward to Mayweather/Alvarez in September. Been a great year of boxing so far don't you think?

Kanaia: Thanks for the response. I agree with what Pauly said after the fight. Boxing and the judging are corrupt. They favor the younger guys because by giving them the wins they can make more money, if only because they will have more years left in them. Pauly may not have won that fight, but he sure didn't lose it. And he showed himself to be a far better human being last night. But as Herakleitos said, we are all dust and what does it matter.
