I'm actually really liking the smooth look. That, as well as the whole ensemble of materials makes it look a little like something I could see in a "Native Peoples" exhibit in a museum next to carved utensils and tools. The Eskimo/Inuit name fits the vibe of the piece well, I think.

Very nice looking pipe there. Recently been interested in smaller sized pipes, so this really caught

caught my eye.

It looks to me like it has a subtle texture, not blast but delicate lines, which I think look good.

Thanks everyone!
James - It measures 5 1/4" long. I had originally cut a green cumberland stem for it but my wife actually chimed in and said that white , with the white ash stem insert, would really make the bog oak "pop". I have to say that I definitely agree with her!

Yeah I have to agree also, kinda gives it a bone look for a Eskimo pipe. Nice call MRS Clickklick! An a nice job Adam.

Very cool Adam. I love the Eskimo shape and you don't see it too often. Well done. :puffy:
