Hi Cos,What information exactly are you looking for?
Correct, but not the exact "MADE BY" stamp.Actually, the pipedia.net citation does. To wit: "Due to the vagaries of international trademark law, he sold his earlier pipes as " L.&J.S Briars", "Ellwood", "Les Wood" or "L. Wood" (bold added by me).
I think they are legit, also given the L&JS stamped silver bands. That makes more sense. Wondering if it is a fake. I'd be interested to see the whole pipe design. I have one, but it is a more recent stamping. He seemed to make chunkier pieces, with a little heft to them. If the band has a hallmark that checks out, I would think that the whole pipe would also.
