made a pipe for a buddy

a friend showed up early this morning with a pipe kit. he asked if i wanted to make him a pipe. sure why not. its a dark brown color. need to leave it dry before i buff it.

Do you use lacquer on the outside or the stains that are powder that you mix with denatured alcohol?

right now i use water based leather stain an carnuba-spelling wax. but going to change and use the powder.
