I'm slowly working my way away from aromatics and trying some more traditional VA and burley blends. While I really can't comment on the taste so to speak because I am new to this and still trying to figure it out. What I can say is that it's a very smooth smoke and for a clencher and a puffer like myself, it doesn't get hot nor does it bite. Had it first thing in the morning and I think I'll let it go out after about 15 minutes and re-light it in an hour or so. Def another one to keep on the TAD list

glad you like that macb navy flake. i have smoked it many times over the years. i use to really like it, but now not so much. it is a very good tobac.... i get a acidic taste from it. i like straight tobaccos to. i also think this issue with navy flake is me, not so much the tabac.
take care.

mike.

I have enjoyed Navy Flake. It's a burley, and MacB does burley well. Too high in nic for me,but nice flavor.

Get some to sit back and age. It really begins to shine with a few years on it. Next time we hook up, I will bring a tin from the 90s.
