Dock Junction, Ga. -- you have got to tell us more about that. Hey from central North Carolina and welcome aboard. I love to look stuff up in Rand McNally; how do I find Dock Junction on map?

I ran my eye down the index for Georgia cities and towns, and then ran my eye down the ocean coast of Georgia, and didn't find Dock Junction either place. Either I missed it, or it is unincorporated and I'd need a larger place it is near. Sounds interesting.

My wife grew up in a lively little crossroads in the rural northeast corner of Missouri between the Iowa line and the Mississippi River, and though it still appears on maps, I think they are down to 14 or fewer people. At one time it had maybe several hundred, two general stores and a grade school, high school, and two or three churches. It's still a sweet little village fading fast. A near mid-size town is Memphis, Mo.
