Love Autumn Evening, what do I try next?

So, new smoker. Tried 4 or 5 small tins and not finding anything I truly like except for C&D’s Autumn Evening. That one I found exceptionally nice and bought a large tin. With that in mind, would any one care to suggest something that would compliment this excellent blend? So far on a ten scale I’ve got Autumn Evening as a 9, Haunted Bookshop a 7 and Good Morning a 4 in the C&D line. What should I try next? Doesn’t have to be C&D or an aromatic.

I second Chasing Embers recommendation. Get a Wilke sampler. Add in Peanut Butter and Chocolate and/or Butterscotch Cavendish. I also like autumn evening and found these to provide a very nice comparable smoke.

Do you want to go a different direction?

If not, Wilke Vermont Maple and STP M/M Log Cabin also worthy and similar to Autumn Evening and really good (IMO).

In the C&D line, I enjoy their non-aromatic bulk blends including Old Joe Krantz original, Billy Budd with cigar leaf, Big'n'Burley, Dark Burlely, Shratfordshire, Bayou Night, Tuggle Hall, and Mountain Camp. I admit I'm a burley devotee, but any of these might make a pleasing change-up, but try any one of them in a one or two ounce baggie before ordering in quantity, to see if they please you.

Cult Blood Red Moon is a living legend in the same category.

Sutliff 504c is a personal favorite if mine and one that you can buy in a 1 oz sample to try.

Just got hold of some Cult Blood Red Moon. Had my doubts about a cherry flavor, not my fave in foods normally but thought I’d try something outside my comfort zone. Wow, is this nice! Smooth! The cherry is there but not over powering. Only the first bowl but it just may be one for the keep-on-hand list! Thanks for the heads up Wolflarson!

I keep a tin or two on hand myself , not an everyday smoke for me, but I do enjoy it.
