I recently ordered an ounce of each of the Just For Him Middle Earth tobaccos to try. Just finished trying the last of the series, Ruins of Isengard. This was my favorite. Old Toby was a close second. Wife enjoys Treebeard and Old Toby. All of them were enjoyable, just Ruins stood out to me.
Next, Halfling's Leaf from pipeinhand.
Aside from some Frog Morton, are there any others along these lines?

How was shortcut to mushrooms? That just seems a little confusing to me... Haha

Shortcut was good, I was busy and distracted so I don't remember exactly what it tasted like. lol. I got a new toy and was playing with it. Found a used lathe and had to see if I remembered how to set it up and use it properly.
And, this morning when I smoked my bowl of Ruins of Isengard, I was just sitting in my room on the computer and enjoying every minute of it. Of course, I was looking for woodturning projects to try. :) I guess I could always try to make some acrylic stems for my cobs.
So, I'll load another bowl of Shortcut and smoke it undisturbed.

I'm still trying everything I can to find one that just yells "STOP!" and so far am enjoying the ride. The Shortcut was a pleasant smoke, I should have let it dry a little but got in a hurry to fire up the lathe. The English blends and heavy Lat ones are still on my to do list, but the Middle Earth ones had to be tried. I recommend an ounce of each instead of the sampler though. Not much more money, but a bit more tobacco to play with.
If you have thought about Shortcut, I suggest try it. You might have a new regular in your rotation.

Grey Havens and Hobbit's Weed. Man, now I need to order more tobacco.... lol.
Ok, found Grey Havens, but where do I find Hobbit's Weed? Seems the Tewksbury website is down temporarily. I guess I can call and order some.

I guess I better load another bowl and see how it is now that I'm not distracted.

Yeah, I think Tewksbury's site has been down for a while, but I believe you can just call in an order. I like the Hobbit's Weed, but it's probably not for everyone. The cherry component tends to have that slightly cough syrup quality, but I feel like the vanilla really smooths it out. I have a tin of the Grey Havens, but haven't opened it yet.

I've only had Treebeard and Longbottom Leaf. Enjoyed them both, Longbottom a bit more. Definitely quality leaf and casing on those two. If I was into Latakia blends I'm sure the others would be nice as well. If you're a LOTR fan you definitely should give them a try. They're sold in bulk so it's pretty affordable to get a sampler.

All the Frog Morton's are LoTR 'inspired'.
"The name Frog Morton comes to us from the works of JRR Tolkien. Frogmorton: A village in the Eastfarthing of the Shire. It stood on the East Road, between the Three-farthing Stone (fourteen miles to the west) and the Brandywine Bridge (twenty-two miles to the east). Immediately to the north of the village, the stream known as the Water broke into two, creating a wide watery region - this feature seems to have given Frogmorton its name, which means "frog marsh"."

I believe PS Nougat was the weed that was on hand during the filming of LOTR. Probably not my choice but a nice aromatic never the less. Saurumon always seemed like a 1792 Flake kind of fellow. Frodo and the other hobbits, perhaps Orlik Slices, Dwarves have to be smokey Latakia and Gandalf would have to be a VaPer...

If you can find any of the GLP NAPSC blends they are LOTR. Limited editions tho, but so far in my experience worth it if you find them. I've had Aragorn and Shelob's lair. Very much enjoying Southlinch now.
