As expected, I spent a LOT more than I intended to at the Chicago Show but that'll happen.
Results of the Silent Auction. Two tins from McClellands and a pipe by Hawaiian pipe maker Jaden Hew Len.

A smallish blasted apple by Tim Thorpe.

A fully bent smooth by Idaho carver Andrew Staples.

A Smooth bent egg by Scott Thile

And if that bent egg looks familiar, it's the twin to the blasted egg that I bought from Scott last year.

A blasted sitting Dublin by Nathan Armentrout

A close up of an amazing blast.

Smaller blasted billiard by Simeon Turner

Various tins of goodness

A killer blast by Pete Prevost. This was a commission and all I asked for was a "black blast with a smooth rim and a white ring".

More photos from the show and the pipe making seminar coming soon.

OMG
What a haul!
Bigvan, now that I own a Scott Thile pipe, I know how well they smoke.
I'm not familiar with the other names, but they look like fine instruments for smoking.
Best of luck with all of them, and I am envious.
I must get to the Chicago show some time soon.

Beautiful haul! I too am smitten with that Armentrout and the Thile bent egg. I love Scott's style he always has amazing definition where the shank meets the bowl.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the show. You really made some great choices, and now you have to make more choices as to which of the pipes you will break in first!! :D

The Thile pipes are spectacular. And the Frogmortons Cellar is a great blend for my palate that I sampled.
