Hi im new on here and I found this while metal detecting in Northern Ireland and I believe it is part of a pipe. I've enjoyed researching and reading up about pipes, its bringing up fond memories of my granda and id love some more information if possible?
Thank you

Yes, it is the silver collar for a GBD pipe, a popular British brand. The symbol on the far right denotes the year, but the symbol looks degraded, so that might not be possible. If you could gently clean it with a silver cloth, that might make it more legible.
