Looking for a Story That Was Already Posted Here

Hey, I had to make an account for this, no luck with the search bar but I think I'm in the right category here.
Some months ago I was browsing this forum & someone posted an incredible little story of seeing his relative smoke a pipe for the first time. I believe it was his uncle, "a larger than life person" that went onto the porch to watch the water & have a smoke, unaware that his nephew the(the poster)was sitting on a chair behind him watching. Anyway it was a magical little story that really touched me, if anyone could link me to the thread where this guy posted it I would be very thankful.
