I recently acquired a Peterson System Premier 312 from the 1947-1949 time era that is missing the condenser / chimney.
And, yes, the tenon end of the stem is threaded to accept one. Back then they were made from bone and later on brass before switching over to aluminum in about 1963.
I contacted SP and the aluminum ones they sell today will not fit the old pipes. And, I am awaiting a reply from Peterson in Dublin.
I thought that I'd ask here also to see if anyone might happen to have an old original one they would like to part with or be able to recommend someone that would be able to make one ?
Thanks, Bob
